With this project liquid food products and ingredients are examined and measured in real time for olfactory and gustatory qualities. The important qualities of smell and taste should be evaluated with the help of electronic noses and tongues during the production of drinks (for example beer or soft drinks). This working combination supports a real time quality security on the basis of Industry 4.0 technology. As well as this, the implementation options of electronic noses for the assessment of the preservation of aromas should be examined.
